EH690 steel plate is a high-strength welded structural steel for ships with excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in marine engineering, petrochemical industry, energy and electricity, transportation and other fields. The implementation standard of EH690 steel plate is GB711-2011. The following is a detailed introduction to EH690 steel plate.
The chemical composition of EH690 steel plate is mainly carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, nickel, chromium and other elements. Among them, the carbon content is higher, generally between 0.12% and 0.22%, the silicon and manganese content is moderate, the phosphorus and sulfur content are low, and the nickel and chromium content are low. The combination of these elements gives the EH690 steel plate high strength, high toughness, corrosion resistance and other excellent properties.
EH690 steel plate has excellent mechanical properties, with high yield strength and tensile strength. At normal temperature, its yield strength ranges from 690MPa to 830MPa, and its tensile strength ranges from 780MPa to 920MPa. At the same time, EH690 steel plate also has good elongation and low-temperature toughness, and can be used in environments above -40°C. These mechanical properties make EH690 steel plates an ideal material for manufacturing high-strength structures.
