ABS Grade B steel plate cutting, the main use of two methods, the first is cold cutting, the second is hot cutting. Each method has its own specific classification, for example, when cold cutting, water flow cutting or ordinary cutting can be used, or saw cutting can be used. For thermal cutting, flame cutting is usually used, or plasma cutting or high energy laser cutting can be used.
No matter how ABS Grade B steel plate is cut, cutting cracks will be left after cutting, which can be controlled, for example, experienced workers will have fewer cutting cracks during cutting. If hot cutting is selected, it is best to preheat before cutting. The preheating time should depend on the Grade or quality of ABS Grade B steel plate. If hot cutting is carried out after preheating, cutting cracks can be relatively reduced.
Low speed cutting is a commonly used ABS Grade B steel plate processing method, pre-sale processing should also be carried out before cutting, good preheating can effectively reduce cutting cracks.
The preheating temperature can be about 100℃, if the cutting speed is relatively fast or the ABS Grade B steel plate thickness is relatively large, the preheating temperature can be appropriately increased. Underwater cutting is a cold cutting method suitable for ABS Grade B steel plate with special requirements. This cutting method is very specialized, and there are usually specialized companies to carry out this cutting process.
