Firstly, the numerical simulation method for hot machining of BV EH32 shipbuilding steel line is studied. The temperature field and stress-strain field results of typical welded joints are calculated by numerical simulation method, and the influence of grid size and division mode on the calculation accuracy of wire heating forming is analyzed.
Then, welding tests were conducted to measure the temperature field, welding shrinkage deformation and angular deformation, and the size and distribution of welding residual stress during welding of BV EH32 shipbuilding steel. The validity and accuracy of the numerical simulation method are verified by comparing the experimental results with the simulation results.
Then, the influence of boundary conditions on welding residual stress of BV EH32 shipbuilding steel is studied by numerical simulation. The results show that the constraint position and heat transfer boundary have little effect on the residual stress, but the constraint mode has great effect on the residual stress.
Finally, the paper describes the parameters such as heat source parameters and residual stress, and analyzes the influence of these parameters on plastic strain in BV EH32 shipbuilding steel wire heating forming, which lays a foundation for the automatic research of wire heating forming.
