CCS A shipbuilding sheet is a class of ship plates. Q235 A steel plate is one of the common carbon structural steel plate. The CCS A shipbuilding sheet is the hot rolled steel sheet which is used to make the hull structure according to the requirements of the construction code of the classification society.

The general strength structural steel of China Classification Society is divided into: A, B, D, E four quality grades (namely CCS A shipbuilding sheet, CCS B, CCS C, CCS D);

The Q235 steel plate represents the yield of this material, and the subsequent 235 refers to the yield value of this material, which is around 235. There are many kinds of CCS A shipbuilding sheet, such as A32, A36, A40, A420, A460, A500. However, Q235 A steel plate specifically refers to A steel plate standard.
