The dimensions, shape and tolerance (including thickness tolerance) of high-strength ship steel plates shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 709, but the negative thickness deviation shall be not more than 0.3 mm.

High-strength ship steel plates are delivered according to theoretical weight. With the consent of the purchaser, both the supplier and the buyer may use the nominal thickness plus the additional value as the theoretical thickness for calculating the theoretical weight. The calculation method of the thickness added value is as follows:
Thickness added value = tolerance value / 2 - 0.3 mm
Note: The tolerance value refers to the tolerance specified in GB/T709 standard, which is the positive deviation plus the absolute value of the negative deviation. 4.2 The dimensions, shape, weight and tolerance of the Grade AH36 section steel shall comply with the relevant standards.
