Katalor passed the ABS Classification Society certification on November 5, 2009. The products that passed the certification include AB / DN, AB / AH32, AB / AH36, AB / DH32N, AB / DH36N, AB / A, AB / B and other brands. Certified products are up to 18 mm thick. The products produced this time are 236 tons of ABS Grade A and 204 tons of ABS marine plate grade B. The thickness is 5 mm-10 mm and the width is 1500 mm-1800 mm.
ABS marine plate is more stringent than other plates. It requires one sample at the head and the middle of the coil for tensile test, and one sample at the head, middle and tail of the coil for impact test. With the close cooperation of the production and manufacturing department, the hot rolling mill and the testing station, the hot rolling mill has completed its tasks in terms of quality and quantity. The experience of the mariner inspected, the yield strength of the product was 274-313 MPa, the tensile strength was 406-450 MPa, and the thickness of ABS Marine Plate Grade B steel above 6 mm was 81-103 joules at zero degrees Celsius.
