The microstructure and properties of EH36 marine steel plate with controlled rolling and controlled cooling at different cooling rates were studied.
The results show that: in the range of 10 ~ 60 ℃/ S, with the increase of cooling rate, the yield strength and tensile strength of EH36 marine steel plate show an upward trend; but when the cooling rate is 19.3 ℃/ S, the toughness of EH36 marine steel plate deteriorates, and then with the increase of cooling rate, the impact energy at - 60 ℃ increases, and the elongation of EH36 marine steel plate does not deteriorate significantly; the cooling rate exceeds 40 ℃ The results show that the strength of EH36 steel plate does not increase obviously with the increase of cooling rate when the temperature is lower than 0 ℃/ S.
When the cooling rate is 56.3 ℃/ S, the microstructure of EH36 marine steel plate is granular bainite + acicular ferrite with fine grains, and the comprehensive mechanical properties of EH36 marine steel plate are the best.
