Heat treatment specification and metallography of API 2HGR50 steel plate:
Quenching heating temperature (℃): 850℃, oil cooling;
Tempering heating temperature (℃): 200℃, water cooling, air cooling;
Metallography: tempered martensite.
API 2HGR50 steel plate delivery status: delivered in the heat treatment (normalizing, annealing or high temperature tempering) or non-heat treatment status, the delivery status should be indicated in the contract.
API 2HGR50 steel plate is widely used as carburized parts with small cross-sections and high-load quenched and tempered parts with very large cross-sections, such as gears, shafts, spindles, worms, sleeves of governors, friction wheels of transmission devices, etc., API 2HGR50 steel plate can also replace 20CrNi steel to make parts with small cross-section size, medium pressure and no large impact load.
