CCS A Shipbuilding Steel

CCS Grade A, CCS A grade steel is an ordinary strength structural steel for ships, hull structures and ocean engineering projects. CCS/A shipbuilding steel products are available in various sizes and shapes like plates, sheets, bars, angles, profiles, and bulb flats.

Hull structural steel can be divided into ordinary strength steel, higher strength steel and extra high tensile strength steel. The ordinary strength hull structural steel of China Classification Society has four quality grades: Grades A, B, D and E (ie CCS A, CCS B, CCS C, CCS D). The higher strength steel of China Classification Society standard is three Strength levels (32 grades, 36 grades, 40 grades), four quality classes (Grades AH, DH, EH, FH).
